Release 1.2.0 - Bar fight


Added bar fight functionality!

Having not worked on the game for around a year, after initially getting myself back into it by working on minor changes for 1.1.0, I wanted to take a look at a mini game - bar fight.

This feature is meant to be a fun take on the best selling game for the Gameboy ;)

I'd initially expected this to take around 5 days to implement (which turned out about right), but hadn't anticipated one of the hardest parts being drawing HP to the screen, by dynamically combining numbers from tile-sets (0-9) into temporary tiles that show the current HP.

I'm releasing the bar-fight as-is for now, with the intention to add some further details in future - I have a couple of ideas for improving fight/attack animations, but I'm not entirely sure which would work best (any suggestions welcome!)
